a new week...

So here we are...a new week has begun.
This week is going to be jam packed! Hailey went back to school today, although I wasn't sure we were going to make it there. Ava and I finished up some last minute shopping for party supplies...speaking of which, looks like I'm going to need to work on a plan B for the party! AHHH...its supposed to rain...do I dare speak that word!?! umm I NEEDED to have this party OUTSIDE! :( Just picture about 10 kid and "pixie dust" aka, sand art, in my living room! Seriously, this could be a disaster! I'm going to attempt to turn the playroom into the "fairy room" which should be interesting!

So on the agenda for this week....
Clean the house...bake the cookies...bake the cupcakes...bake the CAKE! (which I will post picture of) I need to finish the goodie bags, finish the favors...cook the chicken, the ziti, the meatballs and thankfully mom's bringing the salad! I also need to get everything together for the "events" of the party! should certainly be an interesting week!

I do think I am still in denial over the whole 2nd birthday things..but again..thats a story for another day another blog....

Off to get my little lady from school...to be continued!

Spring!

Spring is here. Today is day 1 of Spring Break for Miss Hailey. what to do...what to do...
Our morning...
We hit up the craft store, grabbed some goodies...went to home depot and looked at paint colors for both Hailey's room as well as the back bathroom that is ALMOST done (okay well its getting there and I'm anxious)
Speaking of which, I have this urge to PAINT! So I'm thinking at the end of Spring break (thurs/fri...) I'll paint Hailey's room..with her of course, while Ava is napping! WOW could that be interesting. Just remind me while I'm in the middle of this project and want to pull my hair out that I, yes me, wanted to do this! ;)

So that was today..so far. Its nap time/quiet time here now and I really should be getting something done...ANYTHING done...dinner?

Really I should start organizing my little lady's 2nd Birthday party...usually I'm SO organized with these things, but this go around I'm lacking motivation (or maybe its denial...they go hand in hand dont they) It'll get done...might be the night before, but it'll get done! ;)

Onto another chapter of our day...wonder what this afternoon will bring. :)

The Blog....

I decided that it may be a healthy thing for me to start blogging once again... you know since my normal day consists of talking to a 4 year old or a 1.5 year old for the majority of the day, it might be nice to think like an adult sometimes. Share the things in life that make up my everyday.

So here it is...I took step 1 and created the blog...now to step 2, which is fining the time in each day to let you know about the activities that go on in this house...although I have to tell you, they may be interesting, hilarious, boring, frustrating and plain old confusing sometimes..but thats what happens in this house...and I wouldn't have it any other way!
